Twilight Saga Recasting: Who else could play Jasper Hale?

You’ve reached another episode of Clevver TV’s re-casting series and I’m Dana Ward. Today we’re going through the list and audition hopefuls from before Twilight got made and we’re making the role of Jasper up for grabs. It might be insane to put the actually casted Jackson Rathbone to the side, but we’re doing it nicely, just to open up the spot for another actor. So we’re asking you, just for fun, who would you re-cast for the role of Jasper? While most online followers peg Jackson as being the best Jasper and absolutely perfect for the role, there was still a good number of Twilight fans who said he just doesn’t seem exactly as described in the book series. Specifically, people said Rathbone seems too short for the more than 6-foot tall character and that he just seems too young – even though he’s technically older than the vampire. What do you think about this analysis? And there was even talk that JR was a finalist to play Edward Cullen – would that have been a better fit for the actor? all of the men you picked are attractive but still do not fit the role especially not efron I think chad is to old to play that part and lucas looks to soft for the ex confederate soldier but a younger Johnny Depp hmm thats interesting but i think the jasper that they got is good

and some people said that he looked to young ? than y did they pick zac and lucas they r both younger and don’t know how tho act and the first guy that they showed is ugly and he smiles to much jasper is supposed to look hurt and angry because of his scares from the battles
though i do think the younger jonny would do if the movie was made 15 years before but if jonny was casted i would cast him as a wolf

ok, why did they say jackson looked young and then ‘recasted’ the youthful lucas till? that doesn’t make sense. anyway, this was interesting to see, but jackson leaves them all in the dust. jasper came to life on screen; i never paid his character much attention, but jackson made me love him!

OMG if Zac Effron is even associated with anything Twilight then i would stop watching 4eva! but i think Chad would make an awesome Jasper! I dont really think that Jackson is really the right actor for the role of jasper!
