@djsusp3ctu I repeat: Southern Vampire Mysteries (The books on which True Blood are based) were released in 2001. The Twilight Saga was first released in 2005. Anyway, this show is nothing like Twilight, if you wath it you’ll see it’s better.

This is a great show! No other cult TV for me to watch. It has alot of supernatural appeal, warewolves, witches in the coming season three. I like it alot and this is coming from a buffy/charmed/dead like me fan.

@dina15droubi hahah, yes, I’m sorry, I answer you in another post (I’m 28 and I guess I’m dangerously starting to forget what was like to be a teenager…) XD I should be more patient and less rude with the comparisons between TB and VD, when I was 13 liked Tom Cruise and now I find him really annoying, Again sorry for my sloppy english!
@whatsupBlockL yeah, I guess you’re right, maybe I was in a bad mood because I’m fed up with the “Edward team” and “Jacob team” everywhere, and all the hysteria, gosh, they’re just characters of a (bad) novel/movie!!! , Maybe I forgot I used to be a teenage girl too and was in love with Ewan McGregor’s “Renton” XD…Guess I should be more tolerant.
I like it but its like Twilight sometime.Sams a shape shifter and Bills a Vampire,
kinda like Jacob and Edward .Similarities mind reading,shapeshifters, vampires and one girl with a gift of some kind. I like it though.

But the first book of the “Sookie Stackhouse” novels was published in 2001 and the first book of the “Twilight” Series in 2005.
So it’s more like Twilight is very much like True Blood and not the opposite.
I’ve just finished the first season on DVD. Great series so far.
But I wonder, why they used the were-thing issue again. A vampire and a were-thing as rivals. Can’t they “live” without each other?
