@efenege2 Really? Book Sookie is a slut? Since when is having sex with a grand total of 3 men in your entire lifetime (not to mention not even having sex until well into her adult life) considered “slutty?” Personally I find show Sookie much more annoying that book Sookie … which is not to say TB is a bad show.

@portishphonic I’m not sure to whom you are referring, vis-a-vis Americans & accents. FYI Bill Moyer is British, and Anna Paquin is from Canada/New Zealand. Aside from that, you”re probably just jealous. And with good cause: there’s a lot about America/Americans to be jealous about.

the books are so much better. not saying the TV show isn’t because i love the TV show but it’s just not as good

@efenege2 well, obviously, the sookie stackhouse novels only has one author, while true blood is the collective effort and brainpower of at least a dozen seasoned writers, so yes it is better written. i believe when HBO took this original story into their hands, the screenwriters improved an already great story. so now its spectacular.
