The intro sequence to True Blood is truly outstanding, and it captures the feel of the show perfectly. This is the kind of intro that I look forward to see every single episode. The song is by Jace Everett and is titled “Bad Things”. The True Blood version is quite different from the original, more standard country version. Lyrics (thanks go to Hydro355): “When you came in, the air went out And every shadow, filled up with doubt I don’t know who you think you are But before the night is through I wanna do bad things with you. I’m the kind who sit up in his room Heart-sick and eyes filled up with blue I don’t know what you’ve done to me But I know this much is true: I wanna do bad things with you. Okay.”

Ummm… Dead Until Dark (the first “Sookie” book) was written in 2001. Twilight was written in 2005. So if anything, you are saying that Stephanie Meyer copied Charlaine Harris. LMAO.

Stephenie Meyer’s work was very…expectable and unoriginal ! I mean, come on, the vampire vs. werewolf thing and the tormented vampire not wanting to kill have existed for a veeery very long time ! As i said, unoriginal but… i dunno, fun to read. If you want something original and GOOD from Steph Meyer, you should read The Host. 100000 times better than twilight. Although I hate happy endings.

The original song selected for the soundtrack to the titles was Western Exterminator by RTX – they went with this one…I prefer the RTX version
