@chrissayss what was six feet under about? all i’ve heard is it’s about an family run funeral home. sounds dull? But if alan ball did the show it’s probly not dull at all?

I love Alan Ball. I started with True Blood. Then I heard about Six Feet Under. Wow, I’m so glad I did. Six Feet Under is really one of the greatest shows ever. I just saw American Beauty a few days ago…Alan Ball is amazingly awesome.

I agree! I love Bill/Sookie’s music! Their scenes are just so beautiful and the music is a part of the beauty. Bill and Sookie’s theme is beautiful!

This was really cool and interesting, thank you :)

I can’t wait to get Season 2 blu-ray for the extra features… can’t wait to hear the cast commentaries etc.

Am glad Alan Ball is around for at least 4 seasons… anyone else wish it was 2011 so they could watch season 3 and 4 already? :)

six feet under was brilliant.. alan ball is extremely talented which is why i checked out true blood.. was never a big fan of the whole vampire genre.. true blood is alot more than just a vampire show. people should check out both six feet under and true blood. both very different yet masterpieces

Alan Ball is the most unique screenwriter. His work is truly beautiful. I have not seen any of true blood yet but Six feet under was a masterpiece, American Beauty was simply breathtaking. I am looking foreward to watching this show but his best work comes from creating his own ideas instead of adapting them.

This is the first time I’m seeing this interview. How long ago was this done? It’s interesting.

He’s a good writer but do you know he’s gay? i mean he lives up to his funny name, Alan Ball? as in he craves balls.

He is talking to the other vampires, while looking at the dead woman drained into that bucket.

There was a young vampire named Mabel,
    Whose periods were very unstable.
    So every full moon,
    She took out a spoon,
And drank herself under the table.

In the show Bill is actually talking to the other three vampires – the black woman and the white guy with the dark black hair (the other one I don’t remember right now). They caused a raucous at Merlottes and he went there to tell them to leave. They had the woman hanging in the other room…

  • BeASimpleMan said:

LOL Yea what was that? I dont remember seeing that.

  • yaaratal111 said:

Did anyone catch the scene on 4:10 where Bill talks to a woman hanging upside-down from the ceiling, bleeding into a bucket?
    WTF?!

i JUST realized when i was rewatching the 1st season is:
Dawn is Wolverines chick in the new wolverine film

The head vampire of the area or whatever hu tells Bill to turn Jessica is Danko from Heroes

The girl at the start of the series hu wanks off her boyfriend in the car is SILVER from 90210!

XD very small stuff but i found it interesting nonetheless! :P

Hi, need a lil’ bit of helping hand here. I’d like to subtitle Alan Ball’s short The M Word into my language but there’re a few pieces I cannot make out.
I’ve posted the transcript at my LiveJournal page (see the URL in my profile), could anyone please proofread and fill a couple gaps?
