It took almost an entire month before I received the books I ordered from this company. Although they were definitely in “like new” condition, I waited so long for them to ship that I was ready to file a complaint when ONE of two finally arrived. If you are buying for leisure reading and have the time to spare, then this is the company for you. However if you are on a deadline and are expecting them in the standard 7-10 business days, then I HIGHLY suggest you move on. I will not be ordering from them again.

Ok so I can’t actually tell you I hated the first part because the books are well written, but once you get to the second book you’ll see. They build this story up and then all of the sudden its from Bonnies point of view I mean are you kidding its even worse when you see the reason for the change in point of view. If he had not changed the point of view it would have been an amazing book oh well he sucks though. First part was good and you might as well buy it so ok just don’t get too excited by the end.

These books were compared to the Twilight series, which is why I purchased them. I LOVE TWILIGHT! These books are sad in comparison. The plot line is not nearly as developed. They aren’t bad for a 8th grader, but for an adult, they weren’t worth it. Twilight is much more enticing and entertaining…these were just…shallow.

This series is very juvenile. I imagine that anyone under about 16 would really enjoy it and some over 16 but it’s not for adults who are used to smart, interesting writing.

This is a fun quick read, and I can absolutely see where Stephenie Meyer got inspiration- the “Awakening” book written more than a decade before is without a doubt in my mind inspiration for Twilight (what must have inspired Stephenie Meyer’s alleged “dream”), even using the word “Twilight” again and again. However, the characters are not as well developed as the Twilight series- you won’t form that same connection- and it is much lighter on romance, though there is some. It fills the void that Twilight left us longing for more, but unlike the Twlight series it’s not one I’ll put on my bookshelf to reread at some point… Like a movie that is great, but you wouldn’t see it again if you know what I mean.
