Hello everyone – I’m Joslyn Davis at our headquarters with an update on what we’re going to see this week on the CW’s huge hit show “The Vampire Diaries.” Last week’s episode was anything but predictable and Katherine’s lock-up proved to be a total game changer…not because she was on the road to destruction, but because we learned that Katherine was actually protecting Elena in some way. With K locked up, Elena was abducted…but by who? And moreover, why? Those questions look to be answered this week. From the preview we saw, Stefan and Damon will unite to try to save Elena, who’s been taken captive by two different guys, who we’re guessing are vampires. The real intrigue here lies in the reason why Elena’s been taken. This week, as the Salvatorre brothers come to Elena’s aid, we can expect to get surprising new info about people, vampires and events in the distant past. Jeremy and Bonnie will come together again to help out, while Caroline will attempt to make Tyler’s wolf transformation a bit easier. Do we sense love connections with either of these duos…it could happen. On a side-note, this episode, which is called Rose, will in fact be the debut of a new character by the same name. I haven’t finished the book series(as if this show is anywhere close to the books lol),and I know that Elena and Damon are at least friends,but did they ever get together?

@WolfyGirl2000: You are, I think, the first I come across who thinks the books are better.
I’ve read them to and they are okay, but for me, the books are extremely boring compared to everything that happens in the series. Not only the story, but I even prefer the characters in the series.
I consider the books and series as two separate things. I find Elena from the books more like Caroline of the series, lol.
