Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) reluctantly go along with Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) new strategy to find Stefan (Paul Wesley), leading Damon into a dangerous fight with an unexpected enemy. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) turns to Matt (Zach Roerig) for help as he continues to try to understand what the ghosts from his past want from him. Unaware that Caroline (Candice Accola) is in need of his help, Tyler (Michael Trevino) faces an emotional confrontation with his mother (guest star Susan Walters). Josh Butler directed the episode written by Al Septien & Turi Meyer (#302).

its so funny when damon pushes elena in the water ..very surprising.klaus plan does’nt quite work..building a army of hybrids.. he goes mental saying that he did everything in the ritual at the end of season 2 ..killed a werewolf…killed vampire (jenna ),doppleganger (elena) ..oops he didnt kill her properly tho. poor stefans face when it dawned on him that klaus plan hadnt worked properly as elena being alive,thought it dawned on klaus for a sec,he thinks she dead,hell find out soon enough

@katie5248 ya u r right. it’s just so confusing bc Stefan said he was but we found out he never was and Damon was compelled at one time to leave Kat alone when Stefan said I love you to her but when he changed he never remembered being compelled. Stefan said he was compelled but she never compelled him so why would he say that? He would have surely known if he was or wasn’t once changed. I’m so confused!

@MrTrueNetwork also the premise of the show is about a girl between two brothers. We all knew this was the a triangle show about vampires before we started watching. Why DE bothers people or the concept of the show bothers people when they knew this was what the show was about when it started and they are still watching is beyond me!

His bro said he is not coming back so it’s not his GF ne more the bros girl nvr stopped Steffy from sleeping with Kat wo compulsion! He was the 1 who truly loved her. Not Damon. Damon loved her under compulsion and thght he still did until he realized she compelled him & loved Stefan. It’s a TV drama. They can b with whoever they want! Glory of TV!
