The show just cast a new female vampire named Rose, who will be played by acting alum Lauren Cohan. She’s described as a tough, sexy vampire who is over 500 years old and extremely elegant. She must be making quite the impact because the title of episode 8 is just, quite simply, “Rose.” Perhaps Damon will finally find his one true love. Ugh I can’t believe that Jules bit her then damon had to kill her…
I sincerely loved Rose and Damon together. At first I didn’t get it, but they were a really good pair and it didn’t really conflict with elena Damon which I like, but I think it is maybe better if they aren’t together for the shows sake. Rose was maybe my favorite female character for the two or three episodes she was on. I’m really sad that she died but it added more dimension to Damon I just hope he can add it and still make his own rules and be the damaged bad boy.

honest, it´s really sacks that rose died! I think she is really cool and she and damon are a beatiful couple!
Rose was an essential character for Damon. It’s like she helped him open up and realize that he really miss being human and all. So don’t go on and hating her.
Rose wasn’t really that good of a character.. at all. Although I did like her a bit more while she was dying..
Damon diserves hapiness too!!! Bring back Rose!!!
Sigh, the new episode just showed rose dying because of the wolf bite now damon is depressed and wants to be human again, he is in pain and he ACTUALLY cried badly…I cried when he did and then Elena hugged him and he started crying more! Ugh! :’(
I don’t get why everyone is hating on Rose? and if damon and elena become a couple, one of the biggest things in the show, the love triangle, will be gone… that leaves a pretty big hole. I think it is better if it stays the way it is, maybe with an occasional fling with delena;) And I think Rose should definately become a main character!
