I’m watching the vampire diaries on tv and was just wondering how many books were actually written in the vampire diaries series in total.

There are 6 Vampire Diaries books.
The Awakening
The Struggle
The Fury
Dark Reunion
The Return:Nightfall
The Return:Shadow Souls
You can get The Awakening and The Struggle, as one book, or as separate books.
And The Fury and Dark Reunion together or as separate books.
Altogether there are 7 books.
There are 4 in the first series :-
-The Vampire Diaries
The Awakening
The Struggle
The Fury
Dark Reunion – and these are all out now
And then you get the next series :-
The Return: Nightfall
The Return: Shadow Souls ( Due 6th may 2010 )
The Return: Midnight (due July 1st 2010)

The books are amazing I really wish you read them first before you watch the show they are so much better and so much different the love between the 3 is the same though and some other sceans and traits
