How ironic it is.. Eric teaching Bill a lesson of selfless love =)
At the start of season 4 I hated Bill but now I feel really sorry for him.

No kidding and the way he said “cuz she deserves happiness” with that inflection was AWESOME, as if to say DUH if you ever loved her why didn’t you ever think of that. Perfectly illustrates the difference between the two.

I also think that there are many better songs than this, even expecting something very special by Jonathan Barr. I felt that was lost some of that magic as well as the passionate tension between them that was maintained during the 3 seasons anteriories even at the beginning of this even if Eric had lost his memory. I hope these scenes (if they are a little more to the book) moved me more.
After seeing the scenes between Sookie and Eric, I felt a little disappointed when they first passionate kissing in the house and lie down in the mini sofa, do not fit in, even Sookie should have sought a more appropriate place for it … Then during their meeting in the woods, I love the way they kiss, they look, but when they start making love is something that does not end like it, I expected a big beautiful bed with beautiful linens.

@Sajirah This is exactly what I thought… I couldn’t bare Charlaine’s writing, I hated the Bill from the book and I think the series is a hundred times better… Bill is a hundred times better too…

I think Eric always loved Sookie, but now that he has no memory he can say it openly.
This Eric is exactly what Godric wanted for him: capable of loving a human. He evolved while losing his memory. But it will change him forever.
Bill is also changing. He let Eric go. That was brave. Of course he had no right to stake him to begin with.

I know a lot of people hate Bill’s character but I think the vast majority of those are mindless Eric lovers and fans of the book. Now I’ve only read the first book (and I had to force my way through it. God Charlaine’s writing is atrocious!), but from what I’ve gathered online from summaries and other fans, Bill not only drains Sookie, but rapes her. Ok, I can see why many book fans hate him, and going by the depiction I got of him in the books I don’t much like book-Bill either. But here’s th

Come to think of it, Eric is pretty consistent deep down about what he trully wants -last season when he was dealing with Russel he told Sookie he “couldnt die without having at least kissed her,” and now amnesia and all he is basically elaborating on the same sentiment – “Tell sookie i was born the night she found me, and because of her i went to my true death knowing what means to love”!

@pianoac he does eventually remember, but it takes a while. Also that was in the book you never know how it will play out in the series…
