Are Vampires real or are they just a myth?

Well, are they? And don’t give me that medical BS about Porphyria and that, I mean the real thing, if they’re real. Feel free to add on any other mythical or fictional creatures.

im most likely sure that the whole need of blood to live..and burning in flames..is a myth..
but it was said once about people in cults..
they never went into the light..so they were very sensitive to it..and they did drink blood..but they did not need it to live.
It has been changed and twisted over the years.

No they are not real. The stories were made up a long time ago to explain some condition that they had no knowledge of.

Yes they are but today we call them Lawyers.

Do you mean are there immortal creatures who were once human but now survive only on the blood of others? No, I don’t think so.

No, Vampires are not real, and will always be a myth

No. As your question said, they’re mythical or fictional creatures. In other words, not real. People in coffins are corpses not vampires. No one in history ever has been able to fly unaided and you can’t survive on blood either. No one has ever spontaneously combusted in sunlight. There never has been and never will be vampires. End of story.

Okay, this really is a broad and hard to answer question. Vampires are real, in a sense. Vampires are technically creatures who feed off life essence. However, this is normally thought of as blood, in movies and books. The idea of blood sucking people comes from various legends and cultures all over the world, including a royal woman who would bathe in pigs blood.

However, as I said, vampires are real in a sense because the life essence is not limited to blood. There are a few categories normally considered for vampires.

Sanguinary: These are the blood drinkers. These people truly believe, and maybe it’s true, that they need to ingest blood. Otherwise, they get weak. This might even be because of iron deficiencies. Of course, people who believe that they need to bit people on the necks and drink the blood that way… are unwell.

Psionic/ psychic: Also called empaths. These are people who feed off emotion, in a sense. And also from energies. Energies are carried in everything. Food, water, air and breath, touch. Some prefer negative energies, while others prefer positive ones. While these people do not survive on surrounding energies all by themselves, they do indeed feed off of them. Sometimes this can possibly cause harm to a person having their energies taken, but only if excessive amounts are fed on. A sub category is sexual vampires, who specifically feed off sexual energies.

Elemental: These people draw all their energy from the earth, while psychics normally focus on living animals, usually humans. Elemental vampires may be attracted to a specific element, such as fire, or to all elements.

Hope that was at least interesting, if not answering your question.
