They are Myth. Though I do wish they were real, I sometimes try to convince myself they are real as well. So you are not insane, just wishful.

That’s up to you to decide some say yes some say no.
Each side will have a “valid” argument.

You just can’t accept the truth, they do not exist.

vampires were based off of a certain bat, which drinks blood to feed, but doesnt kill the victim. people just created more and more stories and got carried away. so yes, vampires are fake

I’ve actually dedicated some of my years studying the ancient myths of vampires and other beings in various ancient cultures. Going through books, scrolls and listening to oral accounts passed down. Not basing my findings or opinions on some internet nonsense or what people of recent years have come to believe vampires are. So from that I would say they are real, but they don’t exist as depicted in novels and movies/TV in recent centuries. Most of that is rubbish.

If you actually did what I did, then you’d find similar accountings of vampire beings in ancient cultures which had no contact with one another at that time, so these stories sprung up independent of any other source. That in itself gives credence to the stories having some validity. That the vampire beings share the same characteristics and vulnerabilities further validates them.

BTW people keep posting stuff about sunlight and bats and garlic and crosses, all of which are modern day myths about vampires and not about the ancient legends of vampires. All of this further shows that people making claims about the nonexistence of vampires here have no real working knowledge of actual vampire legends. They are simply basing their opinions (yes, opinions) on on the rubbish which has sprung up over the last few centuries to entertain the masses.

You are excited about the idea because of movies and tv watch less of them and you will become less interested. There is only one way to become immortal and it says so in the bible in Genesis i wont tell you where so now you have something fun to do..
