No, they are NOT real. Vampires are nothing else but BATS. bats feed on blood, thus the term vampires. And it has gone WAY to far.
However, the whole vampire thing has given the oporunety for some good movies.
Vampires”, as written about in popular romantic and horror fiction, are mythological beings known primarily for their reliance on human blood (and occasionally animal blood) for sustenance. While not real in a sense as actually existing as depicted, there are a few caveats that require mentioning before dismissing vampire phenomena off as myth. First is the medical condition porphyria, which may cause a combination of anemia and psychological disorders leading to the belief that one must drink blood to survive. Secondly, the existence of psychologically impaired individuals organizing into “vampire cults”, such as the so-called Kentucky Vampire Clan, makes the existence of persons who attack other humans and drink their blood a real phenomena, though an exceedingly rare one both pathologically and criminally speaking. Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings that are renowned for subsisting on human blood or life force, but in some cases may prey on animals. Though vampires have widely varying characteristics, they are described for the most part as reanimated corpses who feed by draining and consuming the blood of living beings. Almost all vampire lore comes from the southeastern region of Europe, particularly the Balkans and Greece, with the term being popularized in the early 18th century. Folkloric vampires were depicted as remnants who visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighborhoods they inhabited when they were living. They wore shrouds, did not bear fangs and were often described as bloated and of ruddy or darkened countenance, markedly different from today’s vampire. The charismatic and sophisticated vampire of modern fiction was created in 1819 with the publication of The Vampyre (1819) by John Polidori. The story was highly successful and the most influential vampire work of the early 19th century. However it is the 1897 novel Dracula which is best remembered as the quintessential vampire novel and provided many traits which have been incorporated into modern vampire legend. The success of this book spawned a distinctive vampire genre, still popular in the 21st century with books, films such as Dracula and television shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Today, the vampire is generally held as a fictitious entity, with little actual belief in the creature surviving, although superstition in vampiric creatures such as the chupacabra still persists in some cultures. Despite this, there are many people who claim to have seen, known or even be vampires, but without evidence such claims can be dismissed as immature fantasy.
There are people who practice vampirism. They usually make cuts on their peers wrists and drink their blood. But this of coarse is with consent. There also was a case of a beautiful widdow (I cant remember the story fact for fact), But she killed girls in the local village and bathed and drank their blood to remain beautiful.
The Mursi Tribe in Africa drinks blood from their cattle. That’s about the closest you’re going to get other than some freak shows that live down in New Orleans. Yes, they have people that believe they’re vampires there.
Vampires are a figment of a writers imagination, Since we have huge imaginations our-selves, the writer got rich.
no,they’re not,but Dracula was real, and he drunk blood! but he wasn’t a vampire(technicaly).
he was a human who drunk blood.
but there are demons.
Vampires only exist in dreams and stories, they dont really exist however some phsyco type crazy people due to what ever reasons like the taste of human blood and habitualy drink it.
Real mythological vampires aren’t real.
However the stories of vampires were inspired by people such as Vlad The Impaler (it is believed he even drank his enemies blood thinking he would take on board the strength of his enemy – Bram Stokers Dracula Novel is loosely based on him), and the most prolific female serial killer in history Elizabeth Báthory. She was convicted of 80 murders, but it is believed she killed closer to 600-700 females, she bathed in their blood believing this would preserve her beauty.
real vampies run around in capes and live in eurpoe. and go ‘ii waaannnnttt too suuuckk yooouurr bluuuuuddddd”.and they turn into bats and fly away.
You are correct
I’m Edward Cullen on the other side of this computer, I type over 90wpm
Don’t let these fools poison your mind.
Vampires are 100% complete and utter fiction.
Vampires arent real entirely but their is a mental condition that makes you thirst for blood. And I believe they killed you in france for it a very very very long time ago.Sorry I forgot what its called
Of course! There is a portion of reality in every story you have ever heard, it would be pretty hard to make up something that wasn’t based off something real! If you think about it, even fairy tales have an bit of truth to them or at least a point being conveyed. Back before written word was used to record history, stories were passed down from generation to generation to record history. Certainly most of the stories changed from mouth to mouth until the story was not what it began as. So there is an ounce of truth to be told in all the old tales. Also keep in mind that that stories of vampires have been around for centuries and in nearly every different country! Obviously they are at least based off something real.
The story of the vampire started with Dracula. Dracula was a story based off Vladimir the Impaler. A viking that lived in a wicked old castle and killed hundreds of people! He would shove a stake through his victims (dead or alive) and and post them all around his castle. You can only imagine how scary this dude was! But ya, Bram Stoker wrote the novel based on a viking, but that’s how ‘vampires’ became what we know them as today. There are other accounts world wide of similar entities to Vampires or physic vampires
Any who they are real, but take everything with a grain of salt. And when it comes to hollywood, take everything with half a cup of salt…..
Yes…they are VERY, VERY real……every October 31st. Most of them come from WALMART ! ! !
theres humans who drink blood.. not vampires though. unless you consider them as vampires.
vampireism is a specific auric event that can relate from any number of circumstances, such as poltergeist activity, psichic power, or spirutus corpus, that’s the best I can do without looking all this up
Yes they are real. It’s natural for a human sized bat to go around biting people and drink their blood. And people call yeti believers stupid
