No, they’re not real. They only exist in books. That, and I think you need to go see a psychiatrist.

And you better hope they’re not because I’m not sure it would be a good idea to have cannibalistic undead roaming around.

I’m working on a novel right now, tentatively titled, The Truth- if it’s published, I’ll gove you theinformation- you might want to read about a different kind of vampire before you go making your wishes. I used to be like you- wishing I was a vampire- from Buffy, Moonlight, Twilight, Van Helsing, Vampire Academy- then these characters started talking in my head…

In fiction, yes, vampires are wonderful. However, there are people in the world who want to be vampires, and do disgusting things like drink blood.

Ok, so no, they aren’t, and if someone tries to say they are and seriously bites you till you bleed, they have issues, and you have issues for believing them.

You should run to the nearest medicine cabinet and get some peroxide and neosporin before heading to the doctor to get shots for the bodily fluid diseases you might catch. Because you will not become immortal.

Well, it depends on what you believe in. The world has many undiscovered things and mysteries that we will never know. Some things in the world just have no explanation. I’m not saying I don’t believe in them or I do believe in them. That’s my business. No offense. But believe what YOU want to believe!

Vampirism is very real. But it’s probably not what you think. Vampires are just humans with a craving for blood. In South American and African cultures they use blood in a lot of ceremonies and they drink it. They say after a while that their bodies start to crave it. And humans naturally crave blood anyway, what’s the first thing you do when you get a paper cut? You suck on it after you say “ow”. See? However, it would be VERY unwise to only drink blood. You need food too. A person’s body isn’t accustomed to living off of that straight diet. However, if you adapt to that sort of life style it isn’t impossible. According to Darwin’s theory of evolution animals adapt all the time to their surroundings and the food chain is always changing so it is, in theory, possible, I wouldn’t try it though.

There are also “vampires” that live off of peoples energy. Everybody has an energy field and emits some sort of energy, usually through thoughts. Scientists have proved that thoughts send out a pulse much like that of a sound pulse. Psyche vampires (energy vamps) are more attracted to people with higher emitted energies then lower ones. The higher energies bring up their moods and make everything lighter. It sort of increases their metabolism. Also, psyche vamps are also much more common. So you might be one and not even know it! That’s why people don’t believe in them. Because they don’t think anything of the people they hang around with other than they make them feel good.

Another thing is, is that you have to be born or raised in a family that either practices blood customs or born as an energy vamp. If you don’t have either option then it’s best to just study them.

If you’d like a few sites to visit I’d recommend sanguinarius.org. You can read up on it there.

Well, it all depends on what you believe in.
some science freak might say no becuz all the blood reasons but i do believe in vampires.

Its good believe that anything is real. People can judge all they want, but it doesn’t matter. There are Sang and Psy Vampires out there. I know this.

One of the reasons that “psychic” vampires (those who feed primarily from energy whether human life force, nature, or other) and “blood” or “sang” vampires (those who need actual blood to survive) tend to clash is certainly misunderstanding all around. We’re just two sides of the same coin, but being so close, but just not quite, makes it hard to see one another for who they are.

Well, vampires are not all beautiful, undead creatures that roam the night, killing any human they cross…Actually, they’re the guy next door. They’re the Smiths and the Jones of the world. They blend in and they play by the rules. They pay bills. They have car payments. They have jobs and they have worries. They live normal, living, breathing lives and do normal “human” things.

~I think they’re just normal people with an abnormal need~

Being a vampire doesn’t mean power, darkness, beauty, or glory. It doesn’t change who you are. There are far more depressed (and manic-depressive) vampires out there then healthy, happy ones. We’re a horribly unstable lot prone to deep and even suicidal bleakness and tend to mostly suffer through various bi-polar-esque see-saws of stability. It’s not easy fighting a primal, horridly powerful NEED to feed your Hunger. Just about the only thing the books ever got right is the sheer “beast” that is our Hunger.

You must learn to accept yourself as you are. Period. You have to be happy with yourself because NOTHING-not even vampirism-is going to ever just *poof* and change that. Ever. If you don’t like yourself now, aren’t happy with your life now, can’t find peace when you look in the mirror, you will NEVER get it by trying to become something else. Acceptance of oneself in all their glory and weakness is vital to each and every person on this planet. Don’t ever try to fool yourself into thinking ANYONE or ANYTHING can just suddenly give you that contentment and happiness. They can’t. Only YOU can.
